WHAT IS TYPICALLY INCLUDED IN SOCCER REGISTRATION:
Recreational team registration includes: WYSA state player registration fees and player insurance, fall & spring training by volunteer coaches, field rentals, field lining, and referee fees for scheduled matches. Some teams choose to do additional indoor training/futsal/indoor soccer sessions over winter. These are outside of the registration coverage and are paid for separately.
All Recreational players are required to pay additional $25 field usage fee.
Recreational Uniform Kit cost to be ~$100, final pricing dependent on total uniforms ordered for the club. New Uniform Kits (U7-U15 ages) to be utilized for a 2-year cycle so order sizing accordingly. Uniform kit to include 2 jerseys, 1 pair of shorts, and 1 pair of socks.
The soccer season is split into two outdoor sessions, each featuring 8–10 games. The Fall season runs from mid-August through October, followed by a Spring season from mid-April to early June. While weeknight practices take place at local community parks, home matches are hosted at Valley View Fields & Malone Park. Our teams compete in the Southeast Classic League - Developmental (SECL-D), with games split evenly between New Berlin and surrounding areas in Waukesha and Milwaukee counties.
RECREATIONAL APPROACH
Join a team and stay for the friendships! Our recreational program focuses on player development for all ages, offering boys & girls options. Plus, every player gets a premium uniform kit to keep (purchased separately), and all games for U10+ are officiated by certified referees.
Coaches also have access to a variety of development opportunities including:
-Skills Clinics for Players
-Licensing Clinics for Coaching Staff
-Continuing Education Clinics for Coaching Staff
-Required Background Checks on Coaching and Manager Staff
-Coaching Development Team
-PlayMetrics Curriculum and Practice Planning Plans
PARENT PARTICIPATION
To help your child get the most out of their soccer experience, please prioritize the following:
- Punctuality. Arrive on time for all practices and games so coaches can start promptly and players have time to warm up.
- Positive Energy. Encourage a "can-do" attitude in your player. Great energy is contagious and makes the game more enjoyable for the entire team.
- Sideline Support. Model sportsmanship by focusing on effort rather than the scoreboard. Your encouragement helps children stay motivated, learn responsibility, and keep the focus on having fun.
COACHING SELECTION PROCESS
Recreational team coaches do not get paid and are typically parents of players. Coaching clinics are offered and each coach will be provided with specific guidelines as to what is expected at each age level. All interested coaches should volunteer as a coach when asked during the online registration process.
